new list query

Dear seniors and members of this forum,

Just read the topic on new list coming up , I have sent my full application to sydney under FSW-1 and they received on 2nd march 2010. How much time will it take to respond ie to give file no if my case is eligible. If new list comes up in between will I be able to get PR under old system or not.
Kindly give the timelines if any one knows.

Hi,

Yes, you may be right. I have also heard from one consultant in India that the existing list of 38 jobs is going to be revised after March. Since your initial application has already beeb received by NS, you should not have any problem. The process of making new list is in its initial stage and they are having online discussion by getting views of different categories of applicants/aspirants. It may take some to finalise the list.

Yes new list is expected and same is published in CIC website that consulatations are on.

But since your application is already received by CIC, you should not be affected by the changes.
