Hi all,

I've just taken new CELPIP test again with the hope that i could have maxed all the categories. However, i got heavier pressure this time and jeopadized my scores...They are at CLB 7-8 only now...Should i update my EE profile with these new scores???

Thanks everyone

If your EE points will increase then do that. If not there is no need.

Thanks for your reply.

Yes it does not increase my points, but decrease them. I was scared that if i dont declare the new points, and if CIC found out, i will be banned for 5 yrs.

Will the CIC care if the points decrease my points?

Thanks

You have the right to chose the best test score report as long as it is valid. There is no need for you to enter the latest score in case it is going to reduce your EE points.

Thanks for your reply there.

I have another question. As per CIC's instruction on CELPIP General test, it said i must take CELPIP GENERAL - 2014. I looked into the CELPIP website, but can't find the 2014 test. There are only two listings: CELPIP-GENERAL & CELPIP GENERAL - LS.

I tooked the test after April 01 2014. Does that implies that, the test i took is the 2014 test?

I believe your understanding is correct.

Thank you for your reply.

I did change my language test type to CELPIP GENERAL - 2014. I also re-enter my old test result to the profile as the scores are higher and still valid ( 12months til 2 yrs mark)

Thank you everyone. I hope someone down the line will find this post useful for them :)
