Hi,

I got a approval permanent immigration for Canada through BC- PNP.

I am from Bahrain :)

1-My plan is to ask my friend to send me the PR through mail overseas , so Can i leave Canada through the airport before i receive the PR? or it is better to travel to the US and from there get back to home?

2- Do i need to land first and do all the papers in Vancouver airport or i can land first in Toronto then move to BC?
3- is it wise to tell the officer that i ll stay in Canada for one month then go back home for couple of months ? or i should say i am settling down from the first time ( even if am planning to leave soon)?

1. If you are sure that you immigration papers would not be laos somewhere I do not know why you could not enter Cnada with them returning after your visit to Bahrain.
2. You may land in Toronto and then go to Vancouver. No restrictions there.
3. If only he asks you. Yes, you may go back home and stay there upto 3 years to keep your PR status. No need to INFORM anybody.

Hi Regina,

As i heard that it is better ( in case if i leave canada before i get the PR) to cross the border to the US by car then departure from there to my country because if i departure directly from Canada they will stamp in my passport that i left Canada, while through the US the Canadian immigration wont stamp.

Does it make any difference if i travel directly from Canadian airport or by car to the US then from there?

Thanks

Because you are a PNP applicant, it is better that you land in BC or if you land elsewhere that you have a connecting flight taking you to BC where you can visit your friend. You should definitely not give an address outside of BC for your PR card. If you don't have a BC address, it would be better not to give an address at all. If immigration suspects that you are not planning on settling in BC, they can withhold your PR and send your file to your PNP office for an interview.
