Hi friends :D
My husband and. I are on the last stage of our sponsership waiting for news to get our PR Visa.
We sent application April 2012. On Dec. 18 my husband had an interview in Israel which he passed. He was asked to pay the right for permanent residance fee of $ 490 in Canada and send them fingerprints which they received end of December (24?) Anyways while we wait for right of permanent residence papers how long should this take? Any advice if its long is he allowed to come back to Canada and wait with me there. ( I am the Canadian he is Israeli)
Thanks guys so much! Lots of love,
Ana Eliyahu

Hey,

nobody can really tell you how long it will be, as it depends on the VO. But if he passed the interview, and you paid the fees, it should not be long.

as he is visa-exempt ( see here http://www.cic.gc.ca/ENGLISH/visit/visas.asp#exemptions), he could come as a tourist, and wait out the PR with you... the COPR should be sent to the address you indicated as a mailing address, but you can change it to a Canadian one if he comes before the PR is issued.

Good luck,
Sweden
