New Here, just submitted Application

Hi everyone!

My husband and I have just submitted our spousal sponsorship application and we're waiting to hear back on his SA. Our packet was received by Mississauga this morning. My husband and I were married in March in the States. He lives in Calgary and I'll be moving up to join him as soon as I'm able.

I've seen on the boards here that there's a monthly thread for outland applications. Has one been started yet for September? I'd love to follow everyone's progress.

No worries. Are you waiting to receive PR before you move up to Calgary? I live in Calgary as well!

No, we've been pretty reasonably assured that, once my husband has been approved as a sponsor, I shouldn't have any trouble crossing over then. Of course, I'll probably wind up doing a visitor's extension and who know what else in the intervening time, but I'm hoping to up as soon as he's approved. So, that 48 day countdown is basically my life right now.
