Good morning
I'm new here my husband and I have been married since November 26th 2011, his work visa expired December 15th, 2011. He did not extend his work visa and is now out of status, we have been living together since October 2011, we now have the funds to submit the inland spousal sponsorship application but I'm a little unsure of how it will work, we are working with the Canadian-Jamaican Association through a social worker to help with our application process, he has given us the name of a retired RCMP officer to complete the finger print process and criminal check for, 2 questions with my husband being out of status will the finger print process be a problem? also, the social worker told us my husband needs to obtain a criminal record check from Jamaica (home country) and from Canada as well, again being out of status will this pose a problem when requesting a record check from the police in Canada?
Sorry I'm so brand new to this both hubby and I we are completly overwhelmed with all the information.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated!
