New Ecas Statuses

Now I see 2 neew statuses: (on both the old file number plus the new one recived from the London Office)

1.Centralized Intake Office Sydney (CIO-S) Eligibility Review Complete
2.Received_by Visa Office

Site last updated date on: Date Modified: 2009-05-13

So I guess this is nothing but a long pending update of the system.

Any views?
 
Yes now the new ecas status are a bit strange and mixed status are there either for Sydney or local office. One a letter after reviewing will be received ten we will have some idea. I am still waiting for any sort of letter from any office either sydney or london officer after submission of docs and it has been a month an letter has been sent even acknowledgement letter. Do you know what kind of correspondence is expected after submission of docs?

dreamchaser, you are very right. I think the updates were long pending now being cleared. Most of us have experienced these changes in ecas status in last one week. Khanboy, one month is short, the response may take six weeks or more depending on postal delays as well.
 
Anyone in my shoes? I am yet to receive the new AOR from visa office but have never been able to log in using my Sydney file number!!
 
same here wpc71, last week it was "central intake office sydney (cio-s ) eligibility review complete" now i can't can't log in with the sydney number.
i guess they have issued a new file number after receiving our documents but we haven't received it yet.

I was in the same boat till today, i.e., I couldn't log in to e-cas at all and was worried about it. I have two names and both of them are given in the surname/family name field in my passport. If yours is like that, try giving both/all names in the surname field in e-cas. The Identification type is 'Immigration file number' which is the number starting with 'B' you have received from Sydney, NS. Good luck!
 
jtob. I have the same concern. two days ago i was able to check my status it states the same as yours but today i can no longer log-in. Getting worried but can't do anything but wait.
 
I again see a "" new"staus that says "in process" :

We received your application for permanent residence on xxxxx 2009.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on xxxxx, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on xxxxxxx, 2009.

Well I got the reply on 14th May and I submitted the docs in last week of april so the acknowledgement letter was sent in 3 weeks time stating that the docs are being received and pending review. It also said that use new case file number for further correspondence as mentioned in the top of letter.

If rejected fees will be refunded.
