Hi Group
Need your advice. I am planning to apply under skilled worker category. Please guide me through the process & eligibility criteria.

Earlier I was thinking to apply under family sponsorship since my cousin is in canada. He & his family is the PR in the country. What benefit it can add to my visa application being my cousin in the country i.e. canada.

I have over 2 years experience & currently working in Banking sector.

Please help.

There is no benefit to having a cousin in Canada and your cousin cannot sponsor you through family class.

The requirements for the Federal Skilled Worker program are here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp

Since you work in the Banking sector, you will need a job offer in Canada to qualify to apply.

My work experience falls under skill type 0 (managerial occupations) Managers in financial and business services (0122 Banking, credit and other investment managers) which is not in the list of eligible occupations (1112 Financial and investment analysts).

Even if the cap is reached still I am still getting the Letter of Employment. But concern is that might not be in the field of Banking. How will letter of employment gonna support me?

Also if my relative stays there i.e. My cousin.Does it gonna add positive note on my application as I know it adds 5 marks in case of visa processing.

Regards
