New comers as a student

I want to some advice regarding my situation now. I’m a student from Philippines and I’m with my children. I arrived here in canada last august 30,2023.My port of Entry was in Montreal. The immigration officer issued me a study permit but when I was going to get a SIN, they didn't confirmed yet. I went to the closest cic office here in Hamilton but sadly they was not able to confirm. It should be the Montreal immigration is the one will do it. Please give me some insight.

Your post makes no sense. Port of Entry has nothing to do with SIN. You go to a Service Canada office to get a SIN. What do you mean didn’t confirm it? Do you mean Service Canada would not issue you a SIN?
