Hi,
I m new comer to this Forum..i m sept 24th 2013 applicant.from AR changted to IP on june 20th 2014.fill date There s no change in status r any mail. So last week 18th july 2014 sent gcms note.It ll take one month so though f applying mp enquiry.plz Tel me d format letter to send to mp..

What is your visa office? If you haven't exceeded the posted processing time there's really no point contacting your MP.

What visa office are you applying through?

Most people just call their MP, but most of the time they can't do anything within normal processing times anyways.

Wait and see what your notes say.

Thanks for your post. My Visa office is New Delhi.

So I wouldn't bother your MP until the end of October 2014. They really can't do much until then.

1 month after in process, still way too early to expect any further progress after that, you should relax because the good news is your application passed the relationship test, so all is needed is to pass criminal and medical and you're on your way to get PR.

Woah?!?! So you are saying, that is you are "in process" that means that your passed the "relationship test" (would that also mean that are satisfied with your common-law relationship) and all that is going on is medical, criminality and security?
Is this true for all visa offices?

No not at all, in process usually means that they are just looking at your file

According to my notes I passed Medical and Criminality before Eligibility (relationship test)

I'm under the impression that Eligibility is the last thing that they do as they would need to make sure your admissible through background checks first

Of course I'm sure each VO and case is different, but I do not think that in process means Eligibility passed

Oh, that is what I thought. But maybe I misunderstood what Mikeymyke wrote.

Ah, ok. I guess I will have to continue being a little bit worried than until the PPR comes. :)

karthik join the NEW DELHI 2013 APPLICANTS thread....when u visited the thread you will see that there is also 3 more Sept applicants whoz status changed IP to AR. ...don't know what are they doing vid Sept applicants but that 3 applicants one thing is same...all of them received ADR (additional documents request)..
even one person received interview letter. ..so MP's don't help u in this case...u just wait for ur notes and see whether interview waived or not...gud luck

Thanks Guys. I thought in-progress means eligibility is passed. Any way, I have to wait for GCMS notes to see why exactly they are delaying :(

Sure rk, I will join NEW DELHI 2013 APPLICANTS thread. I have been following that thread silently. I thought MP's inquiry will provided some inputs :'(

There is nothing your MP can do for you at this point since your processing times are normal. I would honestly wait and only use your MP if you really need them. If you bother your MP needlessly, they may not be as willing to help you the second time.
