New Checklist Confusion, Will you help?

Does the sponsor also need to fill IMM 5406 Additional Family Information as the Check list says.

You (the principal applicant), and any of your family members 18 years or above. My wife is the Sponsor and over 18. Does she still need to fill this Additional Family Information IMM 5406

7. Proof of Relationship to Sponsor
WE are living together outside of Canada ever since our marriage : about 5 years now.

It asks us to provide any 2 from:
- Joint Ownership of property or joint lease agreement.
- Proof of Joint Utilities Account
- Important govt documents for myself and sponsor showing same address.

WE only have the last one from this list. That is our ID cards and local country passports showing same address.

We live in a large family house (in our own portion), owned by my parents. The Utilities are also on the name of my parents.

Shall I open a joint bank account with my wife (sponsor) and include that along with our IDs and passports showing same address since we dont have joint lease, joint ownership or joint utilities.

I don't know about your problem no1. But for the second, you can ask your parent to write down a lease agreement to both of you corresponding to the time you are living there. Opening a joint account now might not be that useful (I might be wrong), because I think you should provide few monthly statements of that account to prove that you are indeed using it.

If we cant provide Joint Ownership property / Joint Lease Agreement or Proof of Joint Utilities, can we substitute that with other things?

We have been living together here outside canada for 5 years. We have our own individual bills etc that show the same address on both but not necessarily joint utilities account or Joint lease agreement etc. What other things can we present to make up for this? Credit Card Bills, Individual Bank Statements/Letters showing same Address, Cell Phone Bills etc. Will these suffice? If producing Joint Ownership/Joint Lease Agreement and Proof of Joint Utilities Account is impossible for us.

We do have Govt issued IDs that show the same address for both of us, even lists me as Husband on her ID. Im the applicant, wife is the sponsor. We are applying for my sponsorship for Outside Canada. Have a son together (Also a Canadian Citizen)

1. No, the sponsor does not fill out this form.

2. As already stated above, have your parents create a lease.
