New baby born during OINP application, what should I do

I've submitted my OINP application in January 2016. My application is still in process and I'm yet to receive any additional documents request from OINP.

A new baby was born last night. I would like to know what should I do now. Should I send an email to OINP about the newborn baby or should I wait for his passport to be made. It will take about 20 days to get his passport.

Also, If you guyz recommend to inform OINP about the newborn baby right away, should I send a new bank statement showing the required proof of settlement funds along with email (because proof of funds requirement increased after newborn baby) or should I just inform them without sending new bank statement?

Congratulations.
First, you should be prepared with the additional funds to show for POF.
Then, you can inform OINP about this new addition to your family and assure them that you have the new required amount for POF.
