Never been to Canada - Chances still the same?

I will be sponsoring my common law partner to come back to Canada with me once all requirements are met. He has never been to Canada (or outside of Mexico) are his chances still the same at being approved?
If anyone has experience w/ this, please let me know

if your in canada call here 1-888-242‑2100

and if your outside of canada try calling the canadian embassy. also just reading these boards and asking questions on here really helped me through this whole process. i found everyone on here very helpful.

my partner also he has never been to Canada; i'm living with him outside Canada; in fact we wanted to go together each time i went back to visit but his visa got refused :'(

overall it should not affect anything, his chances r the same

i sent his app in july was accepted to sponsor in sept. he got his aor oct 14th and passport request dec 19th
and were cairo egyt outland
