Hi All

What amount should I put in under Net Income question on Sponsorship Evaluation Form IMM-5481?
Does it needs to match with Option C print out?

BTW, I make enough money to sponsor my wife but I wanted to put correct amount.

Any help will be highly appreciated...

Thanks

You don't have to meet minimum income amounts to sponsor a spouse - so put in the IMM5481 what they ask for: your net income for the 12 months period prior to submission of the application. That will not be the same amount as your Option C printout because 1) the Option C discloses your gross income and 2) because the Option C is for a tax year, not for the 12 months immediately preceeding submission of the application.

Thanks for the reply RobsLuv!!!

I guess I have to my net salary manually for Dec-08 To Jan-10???

That part of the form doesn't make any sense. I was in the same dilemma back then. I just put a round number very similar to what my option C was saying. Don't worry about too much. You certainly don't have to do a manual calculation.

Thanks gypsygirl...

Or, about one minute with one of the tax-calculation programs (Quicktax is the one I like) will solve the problem for you. You can use it for the next tax return too.

hello calgary_flames

The amount you should be put in must match with your tax assessment. that what i used and it went fine. if you have extra incomes put that into. i did
