Hi! My sister applied for supervisa for both my parents... They received the request for medical exam November 22.. And there is a note saying

"if you're unable to complete your medical examination within the 30 day timeframe provided, it is your responsibility to inform the IRCC office responsible."

Their medical exam took longer than expected and they did sputum test and an additional sputum culture will be done for 2 months.

Does anyone have the same exerience and how will this affect the visa application?

Hi. I believe as long as they were able to do the original medical exam within the 30 days, that’s good already. It is normal for some to have additional tests, in this case, it can go beyond the original 30 days. The visa office needs to wait for the results of the additional test/s before proceeding. Meaning, waiting time for the visa application result will be extended.
