I am not an expert and I don't know your circumstances, but don't you think it would be easier apply online or by paper in the country where you currently work and live?
If your visa will be approved, CIC will request your passport and then you might get some troubles with sending the passport. Because you will need to send it to the office where you applied. If I am not mistaken, it's restricted to send the passport by courier services to another country. At least, when we tried to do that last summer (were sending passport from US to Canada by Fedex) it has been returned to us.
So in this case you will have to go there in person shortly. Seems a bit complicated to me.
