hi everyone , I've been reading through out this forum and I like the way u guys are helping eachother out.

I live in Iran at the moment and I got married 3 years ago and have a 16 months kid who I got the citizenship card for recently.
a year ago I entered a contract with an agent for my spouse sponsership, long story short, they are not paying attention to my case , now they called me and said they ve sent the documents to mississuga without the bank account statement. what is expected to happen, do they really need to know that I got $15000 in my bank account ?

No, it's not necessary to have the bank account statement. But it couldn't hurt. You can always add it to the file once the application reaches the visa office after approval in Mississauga.

It took a year for your representative to file your application? Wow.

I don't think that bank account statement plays an important role in their decision.

A frustrating year the past year has been 4 us. I 've called them 1000 times , how ignorant and rude people are , it's unbelievable .
I 'm pretty anxious at the moment since knowing now that the bank account doesn't play an important role , the application could have been filed much earlier like -5 months ago-,
Also from what I 've read in this forum, the option C is a free service, which I paid this guy $500 :o( TO GET OPTION C FOR MY WIFE who is not yet a PR) , he actually persuaded me to pay since he said he had to get a lawyer and the lawyer explains to the revenue agency that my wife isn't yet a resident and there is no need for her to get option C.
I feel like cheated big time, I called him and told hm that I will sue him if I find out for sure that he cheated 500 bills out of my pocket.
what do u guys and gals think?

Is he a Regulated Immigration Consultant? Check the membership list on the ICCRC website. http://www.iccrc-crcic.ca/public/membershiplistFull.cfm?

File a complaint with the ICCRC about him whether he is registered or not. They will launch an investigation and if he is not regulated, will work with the RCMP, CBSA and CIC to do their best to shut him down. If he is regulated, depending upon the results of the investigation he could be subject to a fine (you will get your money back) or criminal charges if the RCMP get involved. Here's the link to file a complaint.

PLEASE do this. There are many honest consultants out there who would never dream of doing something like this and this scum gives the profession a bad name. They need to be stopped.

Here's the kicker, your wife didn't NEED an Option C. Only the sponsor needs to provide that if they've been living, working and filing taxes in Canada.

I'm really worried about your application now. Who knows what else was messed up!

Thanks for the advice rjessome

I 've checked on the site and she is a member , however I do not know if the option C is sent with the application ?
he sent me a 16 digit tracking number which I don't know whether it could be used to track the document or not.
Is there any way I could call the center to find out if the documents are received and whats missing if any?
Also I 'm a bit confused if this is the right time to file complaint? But I absolutely will complain If they don't give me my money back .

cheers

The tracking number is for the courier company. Find out which courier was used and you can track it through their website. Yes, an Option C is sent with the package if the sponsor has been living, working and filing taxes in Canada. You haven't so you should have sent some other proof of employment. But the point is, the consultant told you they had to pay a lawyer to write a letter stating why an option C was not necessary for your spouse (who you are sponsoring). Even if it was YOUR option C that wasn't included, there is no reason to hire a lawyer to do this. The consultant can cover it in their submission letter!
