I'm an Indian Engineer, who's living in US for the last 9 years. Came to do my MS and working on H1B visa in my study area for the last 5 years.
Need you advice on how to apply for a Skilled worker visa. Planning to move to Vancouver, British Columbia next year, once my H1B visa expires. Do I need to approach an immigration attorney or can the paper work be done by myself? How much are the costs? What is the wait-time to get a work visa in Canada once I apply.
Currently, I'm researching what my options are. Would it be easier to apply for the PhD program and then change the status by finding a job? Please provide me your input. Thanks a million.
