hi ,,

i am a temporary foreign worker in canada ,i came here this month(December 2012) ,and my visa expires on Dec. 2014, i want to apply for permanent resident visa under Arranged employment ...

can i choose Ottawa,Ontario as my visa office ??????????????????

No you can't, it has to go to Sydney, Nova Scotia and in your application you have to specify at which visa office it will be processed. (ex. Rome, Italy) Depending obviously on your country of origin. Does this make any sense?

Best of luck! :D

Yes in ur form specify that the processing office should be Ottawa. Although you have to mail your entire application pkg to Nova Scotia office which the Central processing office and it gets directed post positive evaluation to your choice of Visa office ( albeit you are based in that region/country)

if the the applicant is based in Canada they have to choose the processing office as Ottawa and if they wish to process in their home country they can do that too.... Irrespective of what processing office you choose, all applications have to proceed through Nova Scotia for evaluation and completeness check and from there they get directed towards applicants choice of processing office.
