Need urgent Help regarding Visa Enquiry UAE

Hi,
My documents reach the Abu Dhabi Canadian Embassy via Aramex from Kuwait on 13 March 2013.
The only way I got notified was the Aramex Tracking code.

My classes start May 1. I already got an email from the University informing if I do not start class on time, my courses must be dropped.

When I called the embassy they said to send email since Visa inquiries are not taken via phone.
I send them an email, its almost 1 week no reply.
Yet I have not got any single reply from the Visa department.

I am really tensed and need to the Visa status.

I would like to add one more thing, if it matter's

One more student applied on March 11 for U of Manitoba May intake from Kuwait IDP office.

He told me his agent got call on 14 April, 2013 from Embassy asking him to defer from May to September. Now he withdrew his application and will apply later.

He just applied 3 days before me, but I have not got any call yet.

I am not sure if he got refused or he really got call for deferral...

Actually Canadian Embassy UAE get almost 7 weeks for the processing time and it could reach upto 10-12 weeks plus 20 days add more for south asian countirs national........ so means if u wanted to take admission in may.. your application should be file in the middle of January because for the safe side if u submit in january middle it will take minimun uptill middle march or end march to get process and 2 week for further stamping so it means middle march and 2 weeks add is end march or 1st week of April.... so u are submitting ur application in march.... u should maximum submit it by february start.... may be u will also get the call to take september intake.. because i also submit my application and i went there by my self.... i submit on 15th april for september intake..... keeping in mind that 7 weeks can strect to 12 weeks mean 3 months so it could reach 15th july and if suppose i have been ask for the passport after 3 month which is exact 15th july and they send me back on 1st week of august then i can book the tickets for last week of august to attend a course in september..... so u should give a 3 months minimum margin for ur application!!!!!

hope u get my point!! though I am not sure about myself even that i will get any response before 7-8 weeks but i keep the nest 2 months for the save side!!!

Don't get tensed... relax.... all the applicants ar smae for them.... its a matter of management.. maybe your friend application managed to get answer earlier!!!

If they have approved my Visa and keeping it for further procedure I can wait
But if under refusal statement keeping for such long time... Hope they arent in that mode...

Pray from God Inshallah if they approve in this week... u can then be able to get visa in 15-20 days and what is ur class start date???

The crucial part is my class starts on May 1.

And I need visa before the month ends.

Incase if they call me to defer to September. My university will take time to send letters to the Embassy.

So after Embassy receives the new letter, how much time it is expected to take or will they start over the processing.
