Hi guys!

Tomorrow is my deadline to send my PR application, so I need some urgent help now.

All of my documents translations have a copy of the original document attached in the end. However, the copies taken by the translator aren't in the best of quallity. As a result, after scanning the translations, a few parts of her copies (some headers in the bank statement) aren't readable and if I increase the scan quality, the file size will be over 4MB. Important information, like the balance, dates and account information are acceptable.

Since I will also upload my own copy of the documents, which are completely readable, will that be a problem? The documents can still be compared to check that they are the same document.

I appreciate your help.

If all key figures are readable with a naked eye, it should not be a problem, but do try to take another higher resolution(dpi) scan of the same documents and reduce the pdf file size using the free online pdf file size reducers available in plenty over the internet. Just google.

I did all of that. I spent the whole weekend trying to find the best way.
The problem is that the translator copies require a high resolution to be readable. And compressing those copies will make them unreadable.
I explained all of those issues in my LoE and hope they will give me a chance to resend any documents if there is any problem with it.

I tried contrast, brightness, everything. I'll give a last attempt tonight.
Thank you for your help.

Get highquality scans, take screenshots of those documents and save them as JPG files and add all the JPG documents in Word 2013. Then save the word document as PDF.

Adobe acrobat has a nice feature of "reduce document size".

Another option: use a pdf printer and pick a low dpi in the printer setting, double check whether the documents are still readable.

Best luck~

I am on the same boat! I need more space to include convincing documents in a legible fashion! Nothing worked so far, including everything suggested here...

I have a wild idea. Why not create a duplicate employment record in e-App with exactly the same start and end dates. This way, in the document checklist it is going to ask for proof of 2 employment records for that job, therefore you have 8MB space to provide all the proof. You can always explain in LoE. What do you say people?

What did you end up doing? I have a similar problem. I'm uploading an original scan + translation + copies stamped by the translator.
