Hi nanu

Sorry to hear that. I suggest to read http://get2canada.wordpress.com/how-to-deal-with-unfair-ner/

I am so sorry to hear about your problem. I've put below cut and paste from the Guide.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG72.asp
Work experience in an occupation in Skill type 0 or Skill level A or B and your experience must have occurred during the 10 years before the date of application.

Experience Maximum 21 points
1 year 15
2 years 17
3 years 19
4 years 21

OK...let's look at it. 9+12+16=37 months so that would be max 19 pts, not 21. From what you have said, you thought you had 67 pts total (if you gained 21 from experience). I can only calculate a max 19 pts, so when you add it all up, do you come up with 65 or 69 now? I can't figure out how they said you had 63 pts. as there is a 6 pt difference between 21 and 15. I hope this doesn't sound too confusing. IF you would reach 67 with 19 pts for 3 yrs work, then you might want to send them an immediate fax emphasizing your accumulated experience and asking them to recheck your application. Once you have a full year of work in the appropriate NOC they are supposed to include all work that qualifies. DId you show proof that it was full time? I hope others wil add their thoughts. You will find the FAX number on Cappuchino's blog site under NER posting. All the Best!

Hi nanu583,

I am confused.... why do you say 17points...did you mean 19 points as calculated by Pippin?

The calculation for Experience points is based on the evidence provided by you in the form of REFERENCE Letters from your employers. Have you provided additional proofs such as paystubs, tax papers from these jobs? You can double check the numbers(s) of years as mentioned on the reference letters and send them additional proofs as suggested by Pippin.

Your experience will be till the date that is mentioned in the reference letters. Experience gained from an ongoing and active job may be intimated to VO at a later stage but not at CIO stage.
