Coming back to my previous question. Current husband is US citizen. Ex husband is canadian citizen and child is US citizen in Canada right now with her dad. I am going to apply for Travel document of permanent resident abroad and remarry my ex husband. I do not have US green card yet and ready to give up this chance. Can criminal past of my current US husband affect my applicantion for Travel document? Should I get divorce first and apply for TPR or I can try being married just put separated in applycation form? Any similar situations? Please, help I need to get to Canada to join my daughter asap.

You can in any case not re-marry your ex-husband before you are divorced from the current one. I do not think that your current husbands criminal past will affect your travel document because he is not you. What could matter however is if you haven't met the residency requirements and therefore shouldn't get a PR card.

Write that you are separated from your current husband (you are separated, right?) and that you are working on getting a divorce from him and want to get back together with your ex-husband and live with him and your child in Canada. If he writes something to that effect as well, it might help your case. They sometimes take into consideration the situation of children who might benefit from having their parents not lose their PR.
