Need ur suggestion.. Pls help

Dear seniors,

I'm from Chennai and I applied for PR last year. I received PPR from Delhi immigration on 13th November. I then submitted my passport on 16th november 2015. Till now haven't received my passport. Now its almost 17 working days. I called VFS office and asked they replied it depends for each applicant and if its urgent you can submit a cover letter requesting speedy stamping to immigration.

I'm worried as what would be wrong. Can anyone please help.. I feel my passport is misplaced sumwere inside embassy?

We were processed out of Manila and it took them a good month for that step. Hopefully someone with experience from your VO will post their turnaround time from passport submission to receiving it back.
