I got my medical request today. London visa office.....

I am pregnant in 20 weeks and i am afraid that i wouldn't get my visa before delivery so my questions now :

1-what happened if i got the visa & could not make the landing before delivery?

2-how long would it take to make new visa to my baby&what are the procedures?

3-should i told the visa office about my pregnancy or it will delay my chances to get my visa?!!

thnx 4 ur help in advance

Dear forum member,
I would like to say that i am feb 2007 applicant ,my N.O.C. is 1236 custom clearance.
Application received before feb 27 2oo8.
All applications received prior to feburary 27 2008 are to be processed pursuant to legislation in effect
at the time of applicaton.
Please, forum member as PMM, and other respective seniors explain about my case that should i wait for
2 or 3years or apply for new ?
what are your opinoins regarding my case? I will highly appreciate.
Thanks.

As for my knowledge different procedures apply in your case.

I'm not sure about the x-ray, but before doing medical tell the DMP about your condition, s/he will know what to do. probably u'll have to send a new medical after the baby's birth and also the fee for the baby with new application form. don't worry, VO will ask for everything. and many many congratulations!! :)

thnx 4 reply..but im asking how long will it take to make the medical request 4 the baby?as i had to wait several months to get the medical request 4 me &my family!!! &i dont if it is true or what..there is no medical request 4 the babies?! thnx 4 ur reply again

If you add the baby to the application, I would expect it to take them a couple months to request the baby's medicals and then a couple more months to approve the baby (assuming the baby's medical examination has no issues, of course.) Clearly, the BEST option would be to receive your visa before the baby is born, land in Canada and then give birth to the baby in Canada (in which case your baby will be a Canadian citizen) but that may not work with the amount of time involved (4.5 months) although that's actually a close call. If they already have your medical results, you could have PPR in 6-8 weeks.

Otherwise, it sounds like the timing is going to push back your landing by 4-6 months.

Good luck!
