Hello Folks.
I wish I knew of this forum before submitting my application. I appreciate the valuable information you are sharing.

I need to submit this info on my behalf as a sponsor: change of passport info (renewed recently) and employment change (retired from full time employment). CIC does state that one should notify key changes relating to the application.

I need to submit these additional documents/info on behalf of the main applicant, proactively to avoid delays: Sri Lanka police certificate, schedule A info since 18 years of age (have already submitted for last 10 years), Copy of Sri Lanka National Identification card.

Background:
This is a spousal sponsorship.
app received by cic 2016/01/27
AOR1 received March 8
SA received March 10

On ECAS: both sponsor side and applicant side shows "In Process"

On the sponsor side......"in process" and the next related screen on the sponsor side:
1. We received your application to sponsor xxxxxx on Jan 27, 2016
2. We sent you confirmation acknowledging receipt of appl on March 8
3. We started processing your appl on March 7

On the applicant side......"in process" and the next related screen on the applicant side:

1. We received xxxxxx's appl for PR on Jan 27
2. We started processing xxxxx's appl on March 22
3. Medical results have been received

So far there has been no additional communication between colombo visa office and my spouse in Colombo.

I do have UCI number as I received AOR1 which I can use as reference. But, my spouse in Colombo (main applicant) has not received AOR2 or any correspondence that would give UCI number.

How do I send the info I stated above in both cases in general and for my spouse in particular as she has not received UCI number.

Your input is much appreciated.
Thank you

wait for file number
For all further correspondence, you must include the complete FILE NUMBER, written as above, in the title and in the text of your message. Failure to do so may delay the processing of your application.

OP should have the application number, it's on the AOR and SA. That should be all you need to send the documents.

I'd suggest either emailing them or sending a case-specific enquiry asking if/when/where you should send the documents. They sometimes don't like you sending documents unless they request them, it could cause delays.

Thank you. I will use the file number.

What is op?

HI! i have a question regarding the additional documents that we received from cic. In our letter it says:

Dear Applicant:
This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:

000000000- APPLICANT:
Supporting identity documents: Our records indicate that you have submitted a marriage
certificate. However, in order to establish marital status, the principal applicant must submit
either a Certificate of no record of marriage (CENOMAR) to establish that there is no record of
marriage, or a Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Advisory on Marriages providing details
about any marriages registered in the Philippines. If there are any discrepancies between the
civil documents issued to the principal applicant and any family members, submit a sworn
affidavit explaining the discrepancies. This must be received at this office by: 2019/10/05

We are a little bit confuse 'cause our situation is this: My husband (applicant) is a naturalized american citizen and I am a filipino citizen and a PR here in Canada. We had our marriage in the United States. During our application, we already submitted our original marriage certificate. The thing is, our marriage is not registered in the Philippines so i know that CENOMAR would be the appropriate document for him and it will show there that he is still single and no record of marriage in the Philippines. Since we submitted our marriage certificate, do we need to provide a sworn affidavit along with the CENOMAR that they are asking as an additional document?

Kindly give us some of your insights on this. Thank you very much.
