hello
i want to apply for immigration to canada. but i need your help before i make any move:
am 28 years, married ; wife 24y.o with dautgher 2 years .
i wonder what is the best way to apply; because i dont want my wife and kid to come with me the first time untill i settle things down for them (from 8 to 12 months from my arrival) . so now, do i apply for my self alone and when getting to canada start the process for them, or, i apply for all of us but in that case how can i precise in my application that my family wont join me until i seattle down. any way, would you please give me all the possibilities?.
thanks in advance

You can list your wife and child as "non-accompanying". That means they will not come with you to Canada when you do. But it leaves the door open for your to sponsor them at a later date. Whether accompanying or non-accompanying, just make sure you list them in the application.
