Hi all -

Just a general inquiry/need some insight.

My friend was denied his PR because he didn't have 12 consecutive months of work. His work permit doesn't expire until July. Can he renew his work permit, even though his PR was rejected?

I really don't know much about this sort of stuff - just trying to find some way to help.

It's impossible to answer your question based on the limited info you've provided. We would need to know what kind of work permit he has now, on what basis he thinks he can extend it, etc.
