I had open student GIC account last year(March 2014) and deposited the amount(10,000 CAD) , since I was at that time was trying to get into Connestoga College for one graduate diploma course ,however my Student visa got rejected . :'( :'( :'( :'(
After my visa got rejected , I applied for University of Windsor for graduate course and got the offer letter with the course starting at January 2015.So I change the GIC account from Connestoga college to University of Windsor. :-\ :-\ :-\
However,now I have dropped the plan of doing my masters.Now I want to take the refund of my GIC money.
I need the below information :
1.Will the refund process after 1.6 year will be an issue? :-[ :-[
2.Will the change of education institute will have an impact?
Please let me know can I directly apply for refund after 1.6 year.
