Hi, I really need some suggestion with my situation.
I don't know if it's really a problem, it's a bit long but please help,
what happened was I dropped January semester off and that time I was thinking to change to VIU.
I supposed to register for the next semester which is April but I didn't register for new courses, because I made my decision that I will transfer to other university. So, I emailed to my university (UCW) if I have to fill any form for my absence and also asked about my withdrawal from the program. They sent form to me and I filled it and send back to them said that "I will withdraw from the program" then they told me they need letter of acceptance from other university, and I said "I will email it to them once I get the LOA letter from VIU."
In the email I said, I didn't have the LOA yet because its still in process of my admission. So I have to wait for sometimes. Then, the April term started, UCW emailed me again said that, "they are in the process of reporting for not attending school for CIC because I didn't register the course and maintain my full-time study." I thought that UCW already know my status, so now I'm worried if they already report me to CIC and if it will affect my study permit as I'm also waiting for LOA letter from VIU, which should be done very soon. (waiting for sealed transcript to Canada) and I'm now no longer a student from UCW.
So I don't know if I should call CIC about the update of my status or should I wait for LOA letter from VIU and I will just wait for new semester start at VIU
because I still have more than 2 months after I quitted UCW to get accepted at new institution.
(as I know international student have 90 days to find new school)
*I'm in Vancouver and my study permit will expire at 2018
