I just want to verify what I think is happening with my application fiie.
On December 24th we were requested additiional documents. Does this mean that eligibility is passed? Also I read somewhere that once additiional documents are requested there is chance that the file will be completed in the next 3 months. I'm hoping this is so because my husbands medicals will expire on April 13.

A couple weeks ago I saw on another thread that a poster was staying in a country more than 6 months while their application was in process. My husband was in turkey for 6 months and a couple days. No police check was asked in the email but they did ask for an updated schedule A form which includes travel history. Because I like to freak out and over think everything, I also let my husband get a police check from Turkey. Should we add it in the email or would that just delay our process.

Can anyone shed there light on this situation?

Not sure where you read this but there is no time frame from them requesting documents to when your file will be completed. As for the police check just wait until they ask you for it. If you send it now and they don't require it they then have to add it to your file . As for the medical they will either extend it or ask for a remedial .

They're already asking for updated police checks. It's quite prominent on the schedule A form that he was in turkey for quite a while. Can I not just say that we notice that he was in turkey longer than 6 months so we've provided a police check from turkey. I really do not want them requesting it down the road. Which will delay our process. Also I've read it numerous times in this forum and from the experience of other posters.

If they have requesting one then for sure send it. In your post you said a police check was not requested but a new schedule A .It was a few days over the six months they may not want one.

Sorry haha I guess I didn't give enough info. They requested for Iraq and Syria, his university transcript and a family document transcript as well as the updated schedule A form
