I fly frequently between Canada and original country regularly every 3 months. After 2016 my family moved to US I turned to fly frequently between US and original country. I entered in Canada in May and prepared to apply for PR card renewal.

I would like to submit my application after I reach 810+ days.

I will absolutely leave the country after I have 860+ days in Sept. for work purpose. I got a contract job in original country for 3 months.

As I learned from you experts, if I don't need to worry about RO when reenter Canada, an expired card is enough. I have US visa so this will be no problem.

However, can I submit an urgent process with my work purpose to speed my case in July? My booking is Sept, so there is a two-month gap and I really want to solve everything in this two months, say additional staff, or any decision put me into SR. I believe I have good reason to ask for urgent.

My question is, does a urgent request put me into a bad condition for SR?

By the way, I am going to visit Sydney in July and I know the office for renewal of PR card is there. Can I submit my application directly in person or just throw it into their mail box? It will save at least 2-3 days time though. Thx.

No - you cannot drop off the application yourself. If you want to save time, use a same-day courier.

You can certainly submit an urgent request. Whether CIC processes it as an urgent request is entirely up to them.

Dear expert, thanks a lot. So, as my family is in US, can i book a return tickets from US to my original country, instead of from Canada? That's my real thought and it's good if I can't get PR card in time. But, how about the officer think that i actually don't need a pr urgently?
