Hi,
I had a 2.5 weeks of experience as an analyst. I could not get reference letter from employer and also I am not sure if it is in O/ A /B NOC category based on "NOC analyst role description" since my role was primarily limited to maintaining meeting minutes.
1) Do I need to show this role? (though form says to mention only O/ A /B NOC roles but I was wondering if not mentioning it will leave gap)
2) Also, I was unemployed from june 1 to july 10..shall i say that I was self-employed in that period and mention exact dates ..or just months(June-July)?

Reply plz...

1. No reference, unlikely the 2.5 weeks was as a skilled worker taking notes in meetings is not the work of an analyst.
2. You were unemployed from June to July, not self employed, which doesn't count for CEC anyway.

If I am not mentioning my 2.5 week experience, do I need to still submit the T4 form for that employment which is not in O,A,B category?
Also, my application is in post grad stream, shall I attach a letter mentioning that so that CIC should not expect 2 yrs experience?

Please reply.

You do not include the 2.5 week experience under the skilled jobs section, but as you were working it will be part of your personal history. The CEC checklist says, provide employment letters from past and current employers in the last 3 years. So if this 2.5 week experience occured in the past 3 years, you should provide an employment letter or if you are unable to, provide an explanation why and include paystubs, record of employment, etc.
