Guys,

Newbie here. I posted earlier about the PCC procedure. I have a ton of queries which i dont know where to ask, or how to ask. It will be good if i can connect with other applicants offline and get some guidance on these queries. I made my CIC profile on 9th May and got the invite on 31st. FSW Program. CIC points 415. IELTS 9 Band. I will post some queries here:
  • The PSK link isnt working for me. I have tried 3-4 times, but as soon as i upload document, nothing else happens. I cant book any appointment. I am thinking of just getting the PCC from the local DSP office for now. Will it work? Or, sd i go and look for a broker who can get a PSK appointment? Isnt PSK for people applying for a passport?
  • Can i use my phone to scan and upload documents? There is a ton of documents to be uploaded, i hope my phone scanner is sufficient to do the job?
  • Medical booked for 9th
  • Photos done
  • Finances in order

You need to get your PCC from PSK.
Better get your docs scanned from a proper scanner and not the phone as all the documents have to be clear.

Get your PCC done only from PSK, its the right thing to do.
PSK is for PCC also, signup on PSK site, choose PCC, fill form details, pay fee, you will get an appointment. take your pasport and address proofs with you to PSK on the day of appointment and after you will get your PCC in 12-18 days.
Its a very simple process, refresh the site till you can sign up easily.
Don't use your phone, color scan all documents with proper scanner.
Good luck.

Thank you so much. I am in the process of arranging a scanner. In the mean time, i wanted to talk about the reference letter for EE. Luckily, I recently travelled to US for work, and the port of entry letter from my company mentions a lot of details, including my date of joining, my designation, seniority, travel plans etc. I have the POE letter for 2015 and 2016 as well, since i travel often. Can i use this letter (signed and stamped and on company letterhead), along with paystubs, copy of my company pay slips etc,? I cant imagine why my company will issue a letter of reference for immigration purposes. Best i will get is a generic letter.

1-PCC from PSK only.
2-Any scanner is fine, just make sure that the output is colour and clear.
3-Regarding reference letters, make sure it contains your roles and responsibilities. If you are having trouble in arranging that, refer thread "nail the challenge of getting reference letter" created by stanlee

Please dont take me otherwise for saying this mate- you will find the answers of all your queries here from experts, just search for them. Posting a new thread and waiting for reply will take a lot of time and you may or may not receive tried and tested answers. Post a new thread only when you have a query which is very specific to your case.
