I'm a visa student, currently in my final semester of grade 12.
Because my courses are in a rush(night school/private school timetable problems, and I have to finish 3 extra courses outside of day school....so little time), and I messed up few of my 12U marks already - I'm thinking about staying back an extra semester. Not a full year, because I only have to catch up my schedule for a few courses. This seems like the best option for me.... since I really really want to get into a "decent" university:( If I have some more time to breathe, I certainly am going to get better grades.

The problem is, I can't start to apply for my study permit and visa extension until June, but I have to decide whether I'm staying back an extra semester or no by end of March. There are people saying that the immigration office will unlikely to approve your visa for an extended high school year. And if they don't, I don't know what to do. I'm completely down and anxious right now. Does anyone know if I'll get my visa approved? If not, what am I supposed to do?

TL;DR:
I'm a gr 12 student planning to stay back an extra semester. What is the chance of getting my visa approved for that? What am I suppossed to do if rejected?

Please. Someone tell me :'(

Hi , i dont have any experience with high school student but i would recommend you to give a try and apply for visa extension before listen to other people outside. Every single candidate has different profile.
Just give a try don't loose hope in life
