Hi im a newbie here in this forum. I just want to gather some information and opinions of the members here..My boyfriend was already in Canada nonetheless 4 years and we are in a relationship for almost 7 years. What sponsorship should we apply so that we can be together in Canada. We can show proofs like emails, conversations, letters, call cards. He also send me financial support but that is under my own account. He went back here in the Philippines last december for 20 days and He lives in our house.

Have you lived with him for 12 months or more consecutive?
if not, you cannot apply common-law.

the only other options are conjugal and married.. conjugal is very difficult to prove only about 2% get approved, because you need to prove their is a reason why you absolutly cant get married and cant be common-law, like an immigration barrier, or prior marriage with no divorce allowed, or same sex marriage is not legal etc.

otherwise your only other option would be to get married and apply as a married couple.

Hi Leisap,

I was overwhelmed of your reply, a civil wedding will do? because right now we cannot afford a church wedding.. If he will be back here and we get married in civil, our papers now can be processed?

He asked me to submit my curriculum vitae last month for evaluation but unfortunately, my working experiences job offer has no available yet for employment..and an agent told them that maybe next year there will be an open opportunities under my experiences and capabilities. Should we wait for that?
