Hi I need some help with writing a letter of explanation for my PGWP.

Basically, my situation is simple. As a preface, I was a full-time student in each and every semester, but in the Spring 2020 semester, I was supposed to be having a CO-OP work term, which was canceled and replaced by an intersession semester (with only one course to study) due to COVID-19. Intersession semesters are full-time in nature. In my T2202 form, my school programmed me as a full-time student during it. Now, due to the cancelation of the CO-OP, I was given one full-time pass/fail course to study during the intersession. In this Spring 2021 semester, I am taking five courses. In my school, full-time = 4 or more courses, part-time = less than four courses unless it's an intersession. How can I write a letter of explanation in order to avoid any confusion? I got also a letter from my school stating that Spring 2020 CO-OP was canceled and replaced by a full-time intersession course. Is that enough? Sometimes Spring semesters can be full semesters (4+ courses) and sometimes they can be an intersession (less than four courses)

As far as I know its your school that confirms your full time status. If they have stated you are full time, you are full time. Its on ur enrollment record.

Maybe cos no one understands your situation enough to help? I personally got confused reading your post.

Basically what I meant was, in spring 2020 it displays one course only, which might confuse the officer and make him think I am part time, when it was full time due to it being an intersession not a full semester

I dont know how the officers check ofcourse, but I would think they should consider an enrollment verification from your university. Contact your university and ask if they can provide an enrollment verification for your entire degree. For e.g. my university gives an enrollment status letter which tells what your status what is in each semester. Every university has its own criteria of full-time after all
