Good Morning Everyone,

I have gathered most of my documents for my CEC application.

I got my Police Clearance and fingerprinting done here in Canada. I got the certificates as well.

But I still didn't apply for my PCC from India.

Just need to know If I can send my Passport by Courier to my parents and could they be able request a PCC on my behalf, because If I apply for PCC at Indian Consulate here in Canada, it would take atleast 6 to 8 weeks.

Please help and guide me.

Thank You

Why not submit the application now then apply for the PCC? I don't think PCC is required for the application but they may ask you for it later.

Don't delay your application because of PCC . it can be submitted at later stage

You can send Indian PCC later and Canadian PCC ( RCMP ) is anyways not required

Hi tejaskhanna22,

You can very well submit the application with out PCC. Place a cover letter in the application and mention that you have applied for PCC.
Apply of PCC (India) in Indian consulate here itself. They says it will take 6 - 8 weeks max , but it will be processed with in 10 days. By the time you get your AOR, you will have your PCC ready. Send the PCC by post only after you receive your AOR.

All the Best.

You dont need to send passport india.. Just apply in bls-india, canada.. You will get it in 20days.

So What I can do is I can submit my file without PCC

and Meanwhile I can request PCC by applying it from the Indian Consulate in Canada.

Yes submit your file by adding cover letter mentioning about it.. You should be safe. and then apply for PCC in bls. You will get it before your AOR.. for sure.. :D
