Hi Canadavisa family. I'm in the process of applying to extend my parents stay. They arrived in Canada in 2019 August. I had a few questions about the letter of explanation. Basically the primary reason to extend the stay is that I want to spend more time with my parents. Also we are worried about catching COVID on the flight back home. Would those reasons be sufficient or should I add more?
My 2nd question is do I need to talk about my income/letter of employment in the letter and mention like I did in the original application my commitment to supporting them etc?
Please guys this is something I am very worried about and anyone that has done an extension before your help would be greatly appreciated. I asked a lawyer how much they would charge to help me with this and they are quoting $4000!!!
