Hello everyone!
New member here so please be a little forgiving.
I'm planning to get married in January 2022 and I wanted to bring my (going-to-be)wife here as early as possible. Pandemic has already delayed this plan by an year.
My home country is India and currently my fiancé is also living there. She was planning to study here in Canada before the pandemic hit but because of her financial constraints she will no longer will be able to do that. I wish to bring her here and start my married life, but I have no idea which route would be better.
I have recently received my eCOPR, so I'll be on PR when I marry her. Looking at the situation currently, visitor visa is an option I don't want to bank on. Because form what I've heard, visitors are not allowed in Canada unless there are strong reasons. ( I Could be wrong this info)
I saw spousal sponsorship but that apparently takes 12 months. I don't wish to stay away from my fiancé after marriage for another year.
Please anyone suggest me a better route. Will be eternally grateful.
Thanks!
