I need help to understand an answer sent by the IRCC and I can't find information anywhere.
Basically I got accepted to a school in Montreal. So I need to get the CAQ, and then apply for study permit with the CAQ. With covid, I had the possibility to submit my study permit with only the proof I asked for a CAQ, and send them the CAQ later once it's accepted.
When I sent them the CAQ through the web form, I got an answer that said :
"We have verified the information provided in the web forms submitted and regret to inform you that we are unable to process your enquiry nor attach any of the associated documents (if applicable).
The Privacy Act ensures that a person's identity and personal information are protected. The email address provided in the web forms is attached to numerous individuals therefore, we have concluded that we are not communicating with the concerned clients.
In order to respond to your enquiry, each client must provide their written consent to IRCC by completing the Use of a Representative form and submitting it via the IRCC Web form. You may also contact the appropriate governing body to verify that you are a member in good standing."
I do not understand why I got sent that as I'm the only one using my email adress and I never asked to use a representative or whetever they're saying at the end.
Do I HAVE to take a representative (whereas all of my classmates who applied didn't got any problems) ? What are my options ? Is just re-sending the CAQ enough ?
