I am sponsoring my mom and dad to immigrant to Canada.
Should I fill separate IMM 1344 and IMM 0008 for mom and dad? Or I should set my dad as principal applicant and only do this 2 form for dad?

Senior members can correct me but I believe you have to do one for each. As it's an application stating x person's intent to move and that you are taking responsibility for their welfare and financial support for 3yrs and since they are 2 separate people, It would seem like you'd need separate forms for each as the applicant has to sign most of them to agree to it so both parents would need to sign forms pertaining to them specifically.

Can someone confirm? I thought there could be only one principal applicant per application, hence only one IMM 1344 and one IMM 0008 is needed in this case - one of your parents being the principal applicant, the other being the spouse, and they co-sign the forms together.

Thank you for your reply. An immigration consultant confirmed that I just need to fill one form for my dad, my mom is not principal applicant. She is considered as spouse of applicant.
