Need help related to visa of minor child

Hi all. I hope all is well.

I am an international student studying in Canada. I came here alone by leaving my wife and 4 years old daughter back in my home country.

Recently, i applied for Spousal Open Work Permit for my wife and got visa as well. Now, i am not sure what visa category best suits for my daughter. Some are saying i made mistake because i should have applied for my daughter’s visa along with my wife’s application. I really don’t know how to bring my daughter here. Will be a great help. Thanks in anticipation.

You need to apply for a TRV for your child as well.

Thank you so much for your rapid response. Could you please tell me, are you talking about visitor visa ? Because some are saying visitor and some say study visa. I think study visa will be lil bit complicated

At 4 years old, either is fine. A study permit is not really that much more complicated.
