Hello Everyone
I have a question regarding proof of income
I am full time student returning to school in Sept and last year also i was full time student and did not worked much.I am in process of applying for spousal sponsorship for my wife which is India right now.I have concerns if my low income will cause any problems for application or do i need to get a full time job. It will be really thankful if some one can answer my question.
Regards
Binny

There is no income requirement for family class applications.

Are you sure about that? I thought that you had to provide evidence showing that you had sufficient income to be able to support who you are sponsoring.

I think SchnookoLoly meant to say Spousal Sponsorship, which is part of the Family Class (since there is a requirement for Parents and Grandparents).

There is no income requirement, per se, but the sponsor must show how s/he will support themselves. This often includes financial assistance from family or friends. The only true financial requirement, is that the sponsor cannot be receiving Social Assistance [welfare].

Ponga is right, I left "spousal" out of my response!
