Hello everyone,
Can someone help me answering my questions:
Few months ago I got the Alberta nominee Certificate , I applied for my PR ,unfortunately got refused because it was incomplete (I did not send my step-child's photos and birth certificate because I can not get them .My step-child is living with his father and my wife can not get for me her son photos and birth certificate for some reasons I know it is strange...) At the same time my Alberta certificate expired ;I already applied for extension they told me it will take a couple of weeks.my questions are as follows:
How long can the AINP certificate extension take?
May be I can get my step-child documents but does the CIC request the medical for him as well?
My wife needs to get the BIOMETRICS so is that enough or she needs the police clearance from the country where she is a resident as well?
What if I do not include my step-child in my application for PR?
Thanks in advance,

Yes. All those included in the application (spouse/dependents) will need to be inspected/will need to undergo the admissibility checks (medical, security, criminality etc.)

She will be required to provide PCCs from countries where she has lived/resided for more than 6 mos.

Your step-child will not be included in your application and you will not be able to sponsor him under the family class in the future. He/she will have to apply on her own as a principal applicant to immigrate in the future.

Thank you very much Ragluf.
but not including my step-child is not considered as a misrepresentation?

Let us clarify what your intention is:
1. When you said "not including" - does it mean specifically - you ARE NOT going to mention/declare your step-child in any of the forms in your application?

- if this is the case, then it can become a case of mis-representation as not all dependents were declared to be inspected as well as disqualification of the dependent from being sponsored by you for immigration in the future. The recourse is for your step child, applying on his/her own to immigrate.

2. When you said "not including" - does it mean specifically - you ARE going to mention/declare your step-child in your application BUT you will specify he/she is "non-accompanying" - meaning he/she will not immigrate to Canada as part of your application.

- if this is the case, then your step-child still needs to be inspected and will undergo the processing steps same as you (i.e. medical, security, criminality...). You need to provide clear reasons and proof justifying the dependent as "non-accompanying". But then a visa will not be issued for your step-child. Your step child is not disqualified should you later want to sponsor him/her to immigrate to Canada.
