Hi, i just did my IELTS and wanted to check if i have any chance of getting a student visa for Canada. This is my academic record:
2009- 10th: 60%
2011- 12th: 59%
2011-2013- Company Secretary (CS) for 2 years
2013-2017- B.Com: Third division, done with an extra year to clear one reappear
2017-2019- MBA in Hospitality and Tourism: 67% and in my last two semesters i had 6.8 and 8 CGPA respectively.
In my final semester of MBA i also did 6 months paid internship in Malaysia.
IELTS: 6.5 7L 6R 6W 6.5S
I want to apply for PG course in hospitality or business in Toronto region. Now the problem is i have low scores in my bachelors but that's because i wasn't really sure what to do after my CS as it was a cut off from my education after 12th and family guided me to do B.Com which i didn't get into. I was also unhealthy for a semester and have a dated medical too. But by the time i realized that i need to study and complete this it was too late and i didn't make it with good enough grades. Due to this i took MBA in hospitality as i have a keen interest i hospitality and i tried my best to achieve good grades.
So how the thing is will my masters and my internship help overcome my flaws of bachelors degree? As i really want to study further and not get pulled down by one mistake that i made unintentionally. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
