Hello,

I have completed my studies Post Graduate 1 year HRM certification course in Ontario. After completing that i got PGWP for 1 year. on that work permit I got a job which is in skilled worker job category in N.O.C list classification B. problem is my company tried LMO for me but got refused on the basis of low wage.now my wage is more then requirement which is i guess 20$/h. I am full time permanent employee right now and my company wants to retain me as worker but problem is my PGWP is going to expire in march 2013. I want to extend my work permit. is there any possibility that i can get extention on pgwp/ chnage into open work permit.? what are my options now?
plz advise me in this matter. will be sincearly appriciated.

thanks

Post Graduate Work Permits are not extendable. And no - there isn't any way you can transition to an open work permit.

Your employer should try applying for the LMO again once they have addressed the reason why the first LMO was refused. Or you can find a new employer who is willing to obtain an LMO.
