I have an internship job offer from a research institution for 3 months in Montreal. I am currently on F1 visa in USA. The institution has created a C10 exemption code under the International Mobility Program: Canadian interests – Significant benefit general guidelines [R205(a) – C10]. They have also generated a reference number for LMIA exemption.
They have asked me to file a Visa application. I am not sure if I am eligible to work with a permit or will I be authorized to work without a permit under Short-term(120 days) work permit exemption for researchers (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...nts/foreign-workers/researcher-exemption.html)
