Need Help : Invitation received

Hi All,

I have received the ITA in the last draw with 427 points. The cut off points were 415.

But i have made a mistake while creating my Express entry profile.Had give Employment start date as 10-Oct-2005 which actually should have been 10-Oct-2009.[My Bad. Can't remember how i missed that]. My total experience is 7.5 years but the system would have calculated it as 11.5 years.

However, my total Work experience is more than 6 years as my actual employment start date is Oct 2009. So i have NOT claimed any points out of this and it was a Huge Type error from my end. Am I right?

Will my Application be rejected because of this OR Can i still go ahead with this? Please Help.

As that mistake is not impacting your CRS score i dont think CIC will reject it afterwards. Write a Letter of Explanation mentioning the mistake and say that your CRS is not impacted at all due to this.

Anyways people make big changes to your application after ITA so this should be fine.

Just to be sure. The maximum points for Work Experience is same for everyone above 7 years right?

For CRS score- max score is awarded for 3 years or above
For FSW criteria- max scores is awarded for 6 years or above
