Hi All, I am from north India and my spouse got the Canadian University acceptance letter which is valid for Winter, Spring/Summer and Fall 2019 intakes or next full year. I have read all about the requirements mentioned in the IMM 5957 E document for University Studies. I need assistance in following questions;
Proof of funds: I have recently transferred some amount of money to my spouse's account. I have following documents which I can show as a proof of funds, please validate;
Can I show Post office certificates for fixed deposits which are on my parents name and nominee as me for my spouse as a proof of funds?
Is SOP is mandatory while applying online for study permit because there is no such thing mentioned in the IMM 5957 E document?
The classes registration for May 2019 intake will open in first week of March 2019 and I will only be able to pay first semester tuition fee in March 2019 so is it necessary to show paid first semester tuition fee?

- Fixed deposit which is on my spouse's name which we have recently opened (in November)
- Post office certificates for fixed deposits which are on my parents name and nominee as me
- Will open a GIC account before applying
